Getting there
The plan
Getting to this voyage starts pretty far back, making it a long and circuitous route to get here. This was to have been our cruise in Summer 2020. Obviously that did not happen.
But it came around again, more or less, as life – for the vaccinated and willing-to-be-masked – returned to something more like normal.

Needlessly freaking out
My boss is back from vacation. There aren’t words for how relieved I am by that — partly because I was watching both our desks and the fear of screwing up her projects freaks me out. And partly because Continue reading “Needlessly freaking out”
Stress can kill you. In more ways than one.
When you’re shaken up by life, your concentration is off. You lose things that are exactly where they belong. You forget how to do simple things. Or not to do simple things. Continue reading “Stress can kill you. In more ways than one.”
