Flying is rarely the most fun part of a journey but it sounds downright harrowing to land at Lukla.
It’s far safer (if less exciting) to take the virtual journey.
Likewise covering the distance via steps at home will be easier than climbing at altitude in low oxygen and low temperatures.
I’m planning to go at least some of this one via my climber vs just flat walking though. Still not comparable but you know, it’s something.
