Travels Revisited: Athens

In 2018, I found an awesome deal, and I went to Greece. The tour started and ended in Athens.

The Parthenon was being restored and so my pictures were always angled to try to keep the scaffolding out of the frame. With limited success.

My cousin and her husband were just there recently and I can therefore confirm that the restoration effort continues.

(But I mean, there’s a lot to restore. And a lot of crazy stuff happened in the intervening years. )
