While on the Virtual African Loop I’m curving up and over the Dead Sea – now approaching Jordan – to make my way back to the African continent, here on The Longest Route (TLR) I’m staring at a new border crossing.

Up ahead: Turkiye (or Turkey).

Actually I’ve been to Turkey. The other end of the country, Kusadasi. Ephesus. Amazing, fascinating, beautiful.
