When I first set the route for my Virtual African Loop, it ran the outer edges of the African continent.
And then I circled back and added a roughly thousand-mile side excursion into Israel and Jordan. So the subheading for the challenge is “Loop of Africa with Ancient Cities.”
Well my friends, I have begun that part of the trip. I’m technically moving the wrong direction for my Africa loop.
And also I’m still in Egypt, approaching Suez and not quite to the Sinai peninsula.
So I have quite a ways to go. But the only way forward is to keep on trying.
