On the VAL I’ve made it to Sudan, and that means it’s time to cook something new!
This actually was challenging because I really couldn’t find a recipe that seemed appealing AND that had readily available ingredients.
Well bread is safe though, right?

Honestly I don’t know if I did it right. Mine came out very much in the crepe family versus what I think of as flatbread. They were good but a bit more light than I would prefer to eat with a stew, which is one of the common uses for it.
Ah well. They weren’t bad by any means. I’m glad I tried.
It’s a long way to go before my next border though. I better get to it!
