It’s dark when I arrive. It’s dark most of the day, actually. December in Iceland only gets only a few hours of daylight.
But that is the goal, actually – because I came to see the northern lights!
Well worth the cold and dark!

Surprisingly, there are opportunities to see the Northern Lights here several times a year. I have yet to try, but they’re on my bucket list!
