Over on the Virtual African Loop (VAL) route I’m farther east and still making my way through Tanzania, headed toward Mt Kilimanjaro and north to Kenya.
But here on The (unintuitively shorter) Longest Route, I’ve crossed another border, and into a country not included on the VAL at all: Uganda!
Where IS Uganda, in the scope of things? Well it’s in central Africa. Actually it’s like the eyeshadow on Africa’s “face”
Alas there’s no street view here but if I should stumble upon something I’ll share it of course. And who knows, maybe I’ll decide to cook a little something inspired by this region. We’ll see. I’m still trying to figure out something for when I get to Kenya on the VAL.
