Between my pedaling successes and the daily slog step goal, I can now nearly see the Malawi-Tanzania border.
Now, reaching Tanzania means that I need to do a bit of a juggle in my medal-based challenges. Because Tanzania is the home of Mount Kilimanjaro. Which means so where along the way after I cross over, I’ll not only need to scout out a regionally-inspired meal. I’ll also pause virtual India so I can sync up my challenges regionally.
So that’s a little something I can look forward to also. Synchronicity!
For the record, the TLR route is a hair more direct in places, and on that route I’m already – just – over the border!
