My parents were 20%+ into this challenge when I joined.
We finished on the same day, which is 100% attributed to the fact that they can’t get out and play in their yard because it’s winter here.
The street views were great and the postcards, as you have seen, were nice. But they can’t hold a candle to the reality.
Of course this also means I need to pick another challenge. Well, I’ve looked at the distances and how far it will be on the VAL before I get near Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
(The answer to that is a long, long way. )
So starting tomorrow I will be putting my mileage to the Golden Triangle challenge in India, from the Conqueror.
