I’ve been a little behind schedule but at the present pace, I might still make it to the border into Mozambique by the end of the year.
For now I’m still in virtual South Africa. In fact I’ve just entered Johannesburg. When so much of the route has looked like this…
… it is almost a shock to find myself set into a city with roads and overpasses and billboards. .
It’s just like the wide open parts of the US, in that way. Quite exactly like the Route 66 virtual challenge, now that I think of it.
