After S came to visit, the family got together for a meal.
The menu included:
- Togo grilled chicken (legs)
- Peri peri chicken (thighs)
- Rice pilaf
- Homemade bread with seasoned butter
- Ice cream cake
It was far more food than we needed but it was extra fun for me to share some of the African themed dishes I’ve been trying. And rice pilaf to offset the heat, recipe for this courtesy of my ex-MIL.
Also I was able to have sent S home with the second loaf of homemade bread.
So: it was a fun opportunity to feed the tummies of a bunch of people who bless my life.
