It’s going to be a while before I have another milestone on the VAL – but I’m still plugging away at it, and that means progress on my other virtual challenges.
Pedaling: PCT
Pacific Crest Trail virtual challenge is at about 30% complete so far. So I have a decent chance of finishing by year-end (because why not set artificial deadlines?) — if I keep at it.
Walking
Also, I just hit the 40% milestone (and tree planted) on the North Coast 500 challenge in Scotland. Incidentally I am still ahead of my folks on this one – they started after me – but they’re on track to pass me shortly, so I’ll be cheering them on while I try not to fall back too far.
