Solo mission NW: northbound

Yes, yes, you all know I’m working my Africa Loop with a vengeance, but what about the Pacific Northwest USA? Wasn’t that a thing?

Why yes. Yes, it is.

I made my loop around Crater Lake which was originally planned to be the end of the adventure. But I extended it, as I am wont to do.

So now I’m slowly trekking northward through the forests and the Williamette Valley, en route to Portland and the Columbia River Gorge.

It’s scenic, but not in the flashy way Crater Lake or the Oregon Coast were. But it’s pretty country. And I’m looking forward to “arriving” in Portland (as I haven’t been, other than to the airport).

Step by step, y’all.
