It’s not ideal, but it’s also not unheard of for me to have less than 10% of my step goal behind me by 1pm.
Ideally I would have a workout in the morning or maybe during lunch, so that I wouldn’t be so far behind by the end of the day. But it doesn’t always happen that way.
It is almost unheard of, for me to let it get so late on a weekend and still be so far behind on my step goals. When I’m on my game, I sometimes have 10k steps done by this time.
But I seem to be slacking today.
I know I can knock out all my steps in a couple of hours in the evening if I have to. I do it during the workweek, after all.
But I don’t want to have to. So it would be better if I would get up and get it done. Or at least, get it started.
Sigh.
That means I need to get out of this comfortable spot on my couch and move.
Booooo!

Okay, all right, I’m going.
I hope you are feeling a little more motivated today than I was. Or if not, I hope you find a way to do the things you want to today, in spite of that. (You can do it. Treat yourself kindly.)

This is why I hit the treadmill at 5:30 a.m. most weekdays. I’ve got 80% of my step goal done before I even leave the house.
Sometimes though, I don’t hit that last 20% until close to bedtime.

Yeah if I get up on time I try to have a big jump on either my steps or pedaling for the day. Some days though… not so much!

I turned what was going to be a day of rest into two days. Then, before I knew it, two weeks of nuthin’!

Oh that is my big worry. It’s why I put my step goal on my daily checklist, along with flossing, so I know it’s not supposed to be optional for me
