When I started this solo challenge, originally it was to end with the loop of Crater Lake.
Later, I decided to trek back north afterwards, to end in the Columbia River Gorge, more closely mirroring my IRL journey of a few years ago.

As I’m trekking there, I’m enjoying the Google Street View and remembering how beautiful the view is to Lost Creek Lake, and how impenetrable the forest seemed as I approached the national park early in the morning. (It’s not, actually. There are camp grounds etc.)

Now with the Crater Lake loop in sight — in fact I will be there (virtually) by the time this posts as evidenced by the street view images added above — I thought I’d also repost some of those IRL trip photos.
If you ever get to go there — do!
