There are moments from my IRL trip to Scotland that I will carry with me forever.
Standing in Edinburgh Castle, with North Sea breeze whipping across my face, is one.
The castle was built in 1103, though the area was in use untold centuries before that. That cold wind blowing across my face, standing in a place that had stood in continuous use from before my country was a country (the Castle was a prison for those captured in our Revolutionary War) and even centuries before our continent was known to Europeans… it was quite literally breath-taking.
And now our virtual trek has brought us to the Castle. Enjoy…

Any chance of you visiting the Hebride Islands off Scotland (really or virtually)? That place has always fascinated me; I think I might have relatives from there.
