Solo mission impossible: 1%

Eighteen days into my solo virtual adventure in Africa, I hit the 1% mark.

Pace Marker: “You are 100.5 miles behind. Let’s get moving…”

Near as I can tell, I’m probably a good 20 days from crossing over – virtually – into Western Sahara.

One thing that will be good about this (aside from all the exercise I’m getting) is that I might get better at my African geography. Especially here along the eastern coast of the continent, since that’s sort of a weak point in my mental maps.

So I guess that’s something else I can maybe look forward to!
