Minot… Why not?

A friend of mine recently mentioned that she knows someone who is pursuing a personal goal to visit all 50 states before turning 50. It turns out this is a goal that, God willing, is easily within MY reach. I hadn’t set a time frame for it – I am fine with random and somewhat arbitrary goals but hadn’t given thought to a deadline (though 50 Before 50 does have a ring to it).

I spent the weekend at a reunion – if you can call a first-time meeting a reunion. But in this world of online connections, these people who came together to bring and receive Christmas cheer have become something more. A mini-tribe, as it were. Wading through

Photos from the 3 cameras I had with me (exclusive of the 2 my mom was toting) have exceeded what I can burn to a CD for them. Said photos have taken a ridiculous amount of time to coordinate to be almost clustered together in some kind of order (three different numbering systems, three different time stamps, I’m not even going to TRY to get them exactly right).
