I am hiding from the storm today.
Rain to ice to snow is forecast here, with regional variances in how severe and how much accumulation.
These are the days I’m glad I can work remotely.
Add that to the ability to preempt the Thanksgiving holiday traffic by traveling a day ahead.
It’s such a small thing to be thankful for, and I have been given so much. So many blessings embodied in the simple interactions of a day; I talk to one friend and get emails from another and chitchat with my parents as I get ready to start my short work day and await the arrival of my sister, BIL and nieces…
I have deserved so little and yet have received so much to be thankful for.
Thank you, Lord.
Wishing you all a happy, safe and blessed day of thanksgiving.
Happy Thanksgiving!
