My readers have spoken

I just wanted to share these two really insightful comments that arrived the same day for me. I’m not sure why WordPress/Akismet flagged these as spam, when they are so obviously meant to be helpful feedback. (And this not even counting all the really helpful SEO-related suggestions I’ve been getting.)

“Appreciating the dedication you put into your site and in depth information you present. It’s awesome to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same unwanted rehashed material. Fantastic read! I’ve saved your site and I’m including your RSS feeds to my Google account, in the future you could include more topics like generic cialis. good job thanks for all…”
– generic cialis

Gosh, thanks for your visit and the kind and supportive words… and for the tip on what you’d like to see from me in the future. I love hearing from my readers!

Unfortunately, “generic cialis” (or even brand-name Cialis) is not a topic that’s even remotely of interest to me, nor one I want my readers to come to expect from this blog. You have no idea how much spam and false search hits I get on the topic as it is. But again, thanks for the suggestion…

Oh, but wait. I just noticed your name… were you offering yourself up as an interviewee for a post? Gosh, how embarassing that I misunderstood your purposes. That is SO GENEROUS of you! I’ll think about it…

“Hello my friend! I want to say that this article about anti viral information is awesome, great written and include approximately all significant infos. I would like to look extra posts like this.”
– anti viral information

Hi. I’m sorry if there’s been some confusion, but the post you left this comment on is neither about you “anti viral information” nor (more generically) about the topic of anti virals.  But you know, a number of my readers seem to be international, so maybe I’m misunderstanding what you meant… maybe you intended to offer yourself as a topic.

Wow, I am really honored, and more than a little amazed, by how many of my readers want to be interviewed on my blog!  It’s even more suprising because I’ve never really made interviews a part of my blog but you guys are really giving me food for thought here.
