The thought from my sister for this week is actually a terribly-apropos snippet from comedian Jim Gaffigan:
Whenever I’m out of town for at least a week, I feel like I should write a postcard or something. But you can be a genius, if you try to write a postcard you come across like a moron anyway: “This city’s got big buildings. I like food. Bye.”
In kind:
“Vacation is nice. I love my family. There’s a lot of sand at the beach. Bye.”
Yup. Postcards make you sound dumb.
